Ninety-nine percent of all PrimaLuna customers in North America have purchased the product sight unseen, their desire driven by exceptional reviews, pictures, ads and threads posted on the web’s many audio forums. By selling direct and maintaining a lean distribution line, we have created a product of such incredible value t hat it has become a “must-have” for customers (many of whom have bought two, and in one case three, PrimaLuna systems for their homes and offices).

Since its inception, the PrimaLuna team has planned for a tight-knit network of dealers, but dealers need to make money as well, and typically that translates into higher prices. However as importer, I want to keep in place that “wow” factor of superior value. Presently, several factors are working in our favor:

1. Market Acceptance. Most companies struggle to get noticed, unless they have a product that’s truly distinctive. A PrimaLuna is just that and owning one really spoils people. No other brand in the history of hifi has won nearly all the awards offered by every major trade journal throughout the world.


2. Dependability. PrimaLuna sells—worldwide, not just in the United States—and we have almost zero repairs. Service issues can make a line unprofitable very quickly. In our roughly three years, we simply haven’t experienced that problem.


3. Resale Value. When people buy a PrimaLuna, they tend to keep them because they love the sound and performance. Therefore, the demand for used pieces and associated high resale value is unlike anything we’ve experienced in our industry. Simply put, it means the money you spend on a PrimaLuna is a sound investment t hat will maintain its value over time.

With the product firmly in place and explosive sales, we are now expanding our network of highly reputable, well-established dealers to serve select markets. These “partners” have agreed to maintain our factory-direct price to you, the customer. In turn, if you live within a dealer’s territory, you must buy from them. This honors our partnership and keeps everyone happy. We’re certain these well-respected dealers will supply you with nothing less t han perfect service before and after the sale.
